Job Opening: Warehouse Manager – Chino, CA

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
  • Oversee shipping and receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
  • Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
  • Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
  • Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
  • Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
  • Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies
  • Plan daily work load, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
  • Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees
  • Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
  • Produce reports and statistics regularly according to company KPI requirements
  • Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided

 

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Must have experience setup with WMS (Warehouse Management systems) & RF scan gun
  • BS degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration OR minimum 5-10 years of direct work experience in Supply Chain, Warehouse, demand, distribution, inventory and production planning as well as procurement, strategic sourcing and vendor management
  • Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
  • Leadership skills including team facilitation, training, and motivation
  • Ability manage staff
  • Strong decision making and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Traveling may be required (to our other warehouse locations in the US)
  • Applicant must be authorized to work in the US

 

Work Schedule

  • Mon-Fri – 40 hours/week
  • May be subject to day and/or night shifts and/or weekends if necessary

 

Compensation

  • Salary DOE
  • Health/Dental benefits available after passing three-month probation period
  • 401K available after one year employment
