Job Opening: E-Commerce/Marketing Assistant Manager (F/T) – Chino, CA

Lollicup® USA, Inc. is the manufacturer of Karat® paper and plastic eco-friendly products since 2005. Based in Chino, CA, we specialize in plastic cups, paper coffee cups, dessert cups, food containers, cup lids and related food packaging products, including customized cups and cup sleeves. In 2007, in an effort to be more environmentally friendly, Karat® developed Karat® Earth, a plant-based line of eco-friendly products, including eco-friendly cups and utensils. The company provides eco-friendly products at a low price, which makes living green affordable in today’s tough economic state.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Assists in overseeing E-commerce/Marketing Department.
  • Assists in updating corporate websites with a combination of static content pages and pages that pull content from a database.
  • Works with the Marketing Director to implement search engine optimization (SEO) and other digital marketing platforms. Familiar with web content management, SEM, social media strategies and CRM.
  • Manages site production activities such as working with online products, maintenance, troubleshooting, source-coding, etc.
  • Assists in overseeing advertising, public relations, promotions & special events.
  • Reinforces an approach amongst employees of extremely friendly and helpful customer interactions.
  • Provides regular performance feedback to employees in a positive and constructive way to help them grow in their roles and maximize their performance.
  • Assists in coordinating, producing, and designing email blasts and online banners.
  • Retouches product pictures for all website merchandise. Online research of competitive data related to price info, sales promotions, etc.
  • Coordinating, creating, and updating content for external and internal sites on a regular basis. Managing strict timelines to main current content and develop new content.
  • Coordinating projects with the marketing/sales departments while supporting upper management.
  • Strategy planning, development, implementation, and leading new product roll-out
  • Manages, trains, and schedulea a variety of marketing projects and campaigns in US and overseas including but not limited to digital marketing efforts, editorials, press releases, packaging design, labeling, and materials for trade shows, email campaigns, photography, retail, other events, and more.
  • Assumes ownership of assigned projects and take lead as primary problem solver for assigned projects.
  • Drives all decisions around project scope with appropriate input from project team members.
  • Maintains project schedule and drives development around that timeframe – Keeps project on track with daily or weekly scheduled reminders/updates, including any resource restrictions necessary to stay on budget.
  • Creates and executes project work plans and revising as appropriate to meet company’s goals and requirements
  • Reviewing deliverables prepared by the project team and/or third-party vendors, or overseas team
  • Managing day-to-day operational aspects of the project and scope.
  • Obtains written approval for copyright and legal requirements.
  • Price bidding, negotiation with vendor/suppliers.
  • Designs/creates new types of sales & marketing materials.
  • Coordinating projects with the marketing/sales departments while supporting upper management

 

Requirements

  • Must have three (3) years minimum experience in marketing and e-commerce or digital marketing supervisory role.
  • Proficient knowledge of HTML5/CSS Dreamweaver
  • Knowledge of NetSuite and/or Bronto is a plus.
  • Ability to take mockup images and turn them into a functional website.
  • A hard worker and willing to learn new things.
  • A fast learner and not afraid of a challenge
  • Someone who works well with others.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Punctual, reliable, positive and honest.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
  • Experienced in working with Adobe CS6 or CC, photography, and photo retouching.
  • Interested in the retail beverage and manufacturing industry.
  • Strong creative and artistic skills.
  • A person with the ability to prioritize and multitask, & work well under pressure & deadlines.
  • Adept with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Punctual, reliable, positive and honest.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in written format with varying levels within & outside of the company (e.g., clients, affiliated organization, and the media).

 

Work Schedule

  • This is a full time position (40 hours/week) in Chino,CA.

 

Compensation

  • $45,000-48,000/year DOE /li>
  • Health/Dental benefits available after passing three-month probation period
