Job Opening: Accounts Receivable Assistant (F/T) – Chino, CA

 

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Perform a variety of general accounting tasks and support Senior Accountants in Accounting Department. Provide financial, clerical & administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate payment of accounts under control. Also, communicate and coordinate with other departments to resolve tasks. Duties include (but not limited to):

  • Monitoring customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
  • Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, credit card and ACH transactions
  • Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, customer service departments, and from customers
  • Resolves invalid or unauthorized deductions by following pending deductions procedures
  • Resolves collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, credit term; coordinating contact with collections department
  • Carry out collection and reporting activities according to specific deadline
  • Maintain and filing accounting relative folder

 

Qualifications

  • Must have at least two years of account receivable experience
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting and bookkeeping principles and procedures
  • Accounting software knowledge required: NetSuite/Peachtree
  • Good writing and communication skills, be resourceful, and be a team player
  • Applicant must be authorized to work in the US

 

Skills & Requirements

  • 2 years experience in Accounts Receivable
  • Strong computer skills including MS Excel/Word/Outlook
  • Internet knowledge
  • Bilingual: English & Chinese-speaking preferred

 

Work Schedule

  • Mon-Fri – 40 hours/week
  • 8-hour shift with 1 hour meal break from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm or 9:00 am – 6:00 pm

 

Compensation

  • Salary DOE
  • Health/Dental benefits available after passing three-month probation period
  • 401K available after one year employment
